Stephen Warnock has been called up to the England Squad for friendlies against the United States and Trinidad & Tobago. He deserves it too, our congrats to him and best of luck.
Rovers have confirmed a pre-season friendly away to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. The game is set for Saturday, August 2nd with a 3.00pm kickoff time.
It is reported that the club have also offered out-of-contract veteran midfielder Tugay a one-year pay-as-you-play deal. Nothing confirmed as of yet.
Last and certainly not least: Rovers have confirmed that Matt Derbyshire, Stephen Warnock and Martin Olsson have signed new contracts which will keep them at the club until 2012.

Great news on Warnock, although I doubt if he’ll get much action. The best news recently is the mini clearout of absolutely useless players - Enckelman, Berner and Henchoz all released. Should clear some room on the wage bill. Dead weight is all they were! Great to see Tugay given the chance to progress into coaching, hopefully that could see him with us for a while longer!
