Bolton 1 - 2 Rovers
By: Dan Clough | January 14th, 2008
Another poor first half performance. Another 1-0 deificit. Another second half reinvention and another excellent comeback.
Jason Roberts sent a message to Hughesy by running more than half the length of the pitch before banging in the winner in the dying minutes of the match to give us our third consecutive league win and leave us just three points behind Liverpool in fourth. Before that Samba had equalised with a header in the first ten minutes of the second half.
Bolton’s goal was a wonder goal, Nolan swivveling and hitting it on the volley giving Friedel no chance.
Finally the bad run has come to an end but we need to sort out our first half performances if we are to stand any chance of beating the decent teams!
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find any highlights but will keep on searching…
