Mackems v Rovers
By: Dan Clough | September 28th, 2007
Rovers face a tough challenge tomorrow at Sunderland.
In all honesty though if we are a ‘top six’ side we MUST beat these teams.
It should be a fiesty encounter given the nature of our two managers; two of the greatest players the Premier League has ever seen, but they didn’t take any prisoners!
I think we could do with a bit of a re-shuffle in terms of starting eleven. On one forum I’m reading an interesting suggestion was playing Dunny at left wing and giving MGP a ‘rest/kick up the arse!’ I also wouldn’t be surprised if Benni drops to the bench and Derbs getting a start after a good performance on Wednesday night.
My prediction
1-0 Rovers. It’s gonna be a battle!

Keano is scrambling to bring stability to his lineup that’s been chaotic with injuries and suspensions, but I do expect a good match. Good luck to Rovers and Ha’way the Mackems!
