Man Yoo v Rovers
By: Dan Clough | November 10th, 2007
The trip to Old Trafford always seems impossible. A game in which 70,000 Cockneys and a sprinkling of Mancs will cheer the home team on to victory.
However, we are in good form, and have a good chance of causing yet another upset.
In the 2005/06 season we came away from United with a 2-1 win and, if we play at our best, we can repeat this feat.
Unfortunately Hughesy has just been given the Manager of the Month award, which often results in a defeat. But I’m confident we can overcome this hoodoo!
United are without Wayne ‘Shrek’ Rooney so they’ll only have half of the ugliest strike partnership ever while Rovers have a full strength squad to choose from.
I’m gonna stick my neck out on this one.
My prediction
2-1 Rovers! Happens so often its the easiest bet to make!
