Rovers 1 - 0 Sunderland
By: Dan Clough | January 3rd, 2008An awful match but a vital three points and our form now looks somewhat better than it did a week or so ago. Seven points from a possible nine, we are ninth and only three points behind Everton in sixth!
Despite the poor match there were reasons to be cheerful. Another penalty save from Brad, although it was a crap penalty to be fair, a goal for Benni (even if it was from the spot the psychological effects should be positive) and a red card for Dwight ‘one lazy bastard’ Yorke!
