Rovers 1 – 4 Coventry: Ahem, a difficult pill to swallow
By: Dan Clough | January 6th, 2008There was me at work saying, “A good 4-0 tonking today could get our season back on track,” how wrong I was…
Rovers look in desperate trouble at the moment, the defence is all over the shop and without Santa Cruz it’s difficult to see where the goals are coming from.
Another fine strike from Bentley but when the opposition is hammering four past you it doesn’t make much difference!
The only positive to take from the match is that we were fielding a weakened side with Keith Treacy, Bruno Berner, Zurab Khizanishvilli and Maceo Rigters all given a start.
Fair play to Coventry they took full advantage and didn’t look like a side who should be stuck in the Championship. Rovers are now out of all cups after three severe disappointments and must now look to rectify this by rescuing the Premiership form and firing us back into Europe.
