Jol’s gone!
By: Dan Clough | October 26th, 2007Now that Martin Jol has been sacked Spurs’ really do look like a team in trouble.
Only problem is, will they receive a boost from ‘new manager syndrome’?
So often it happens. A team sacks their manager and their fortunes improve, even if only for a little while, as the players try to make sure they don’t lose their place in the side.
Let’s hope this isn’t the case on Sunday! I refuse to alter my prediction!

All joking aside (and you’re a sensitive girly-man maninhead, douche your vagina), I think the one concern for Blackburn (who everyone at Spurs rates much higher than ourselves) is that the players may be motivated for once. They have a new boss and they haven’t performed in a while. I would say that, even with that, Blackburn are a better side right now> As long as your man-marker (not sure if that is Nelson or Samba) can niggle Berbatov, you should have little trouble as you will dominate our midfield, which is crap. And we have nobody that can handle your forwards until King is back in a few year. But that’s okay. Our year is basically done, and I would love to see you guys break the top four.

Hi Chris,
It’s OK I don’t rate your manager that highly anyway..
But I fear for us on Sunday. Have you actually watched us defend? We’d be better off just playing a few more strikers because they are non-existent at the back. Hopefully the team will be fired up after the whole Jol fiasco, and we are desperate for a win. It all depends on how we handle Bently, Pederson, Tugay, McCarthy and Santa Cruz. It feels like another Spurs home defeat.
