Keegan’s appointment at Newcastle means Sparky will stay with us until Ferguson retires/croaks.
In other news Rovers attempts to sign Amdy Faye look to have gone tits up. The Senegalese midfielder has played for Charlton and Rangers already, and according to some ridiculous rule he can’t play for a third.
Is it me or is this rule absolutely pointless? WHO CARES?!

According to the Daily Mail Blackburn are checking with FIFA on this, since there was an exception granted to Mascherano last year when he got loaned to Liverpool. I wouldn’t say the deal is dead just yet.
