The Pre End-of-the-Season List: The Good and Bad

Bents, good and bad This year has brought and taught us many things., some good and some bad. Now it won’t be until the summer that we can accurately look back on the season and analyze it and plan moving forward but there are some things now that may reign true. Granted, come the end of the season, some thing on this list may be null, void, made redundant or prove to be 100% correct; I cannot promise anything though. This is just my simple take on the year till this point, and more specifically the second half of the year.

Good:
David Bentley: The lad is our shinning star and will carry us to the promised land….well um, hopefully Europe at the least. In a class above most, DB will have to step up as a bigger leader along side the Admiral and mature some next year to continue this class act.

Mark Hughes: Yes yes, Vogel has had one game. I know, but with Samba and Santa Cruz having been great this year for us, one can’t help but get excited for this guy. Trust in Mark Hughes.

Goal Difference: I know you may look and it is only +4 right now. But when we finished 9th two seasons ago we were +9 and I think that is certainly feasible for us right now.

Gamst: Took a while, a long while, but we’re all glad you decided to show up.

Big Brad: Need I say more? I shudder to think where we’d be with out him.

Bad:
David Bentley’s Mouth: This one is self-explanatory. Stop talking to the media everyday. Go kick dead balls and get better. We’ll respect what you say more as you mature and stop contradicting yourself in the media.

Samba’s second half: Even he has admitted that he has been poor this year (See below) Gotta love the guy’s enthusiasm though. Hopefully this was just a Premier League Rookie mistake and cheers to him for recognizing what he needs to fix.

These are just a few things I have been pontificating about lately. That and I hate when Bents takes shots from 90 miles out, classic sign of frustration and lack of composure. Of course, I am not the know all and be all of Rovers, as much as I may think I am; you are! So leave a comment and let me know what you think about the good, bad or ugly of the year.
