The Recovery…
By: Jimmy | March 16th, 2009I didn’t expect points from the Arsenal game. Really, I didn’t. But I didn’t expect an embarrassment and to feel the anger I felt afterward. Not anger at the team as a whole, well, not entirely. However, one player in particular. One player who I always have tried to defend through his ups and downs.
MGP diving was one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen in a good while. And to be wearing our shirt and behaving in that disgraceful behavior that week in and week out contributes to the decline of the quality of football is just… ugh. Terrible. Probably the thing I’ll remember most when i think back on this game.

calm down Jim…MGP wasnt great, but i’d be more annoyed with El Hadj…that was a NASTY tackle. MGP was desperate he doesnt make a habbit out of it.
Anyway, we had a slightly weakened team out, Danny Simps at RB got done nuff times, especially by Arshavin for goal 2 (which I think maybe should have been saved).
Goals 3 and 4 were because we knew we had lost. the hammers drew so lets hope we can beat them at the weekend and get away from relegation. they dont have Upson so hopefully Robbo and Roque can cause hell…with Benni Mac on the bench too!Posted from
