Deadline day rumours (not to be taken too seriously)

-Rumours are circulating that Jermaine Defoe is going to sign. He will replace McCarthy who is on his way to United.

Defoe was seen in the crowd at Rovers UEFA Cup game last night. McCarthy apparently left out as he is moving on which has hurt best mate Jason Roberts who was quick to leave the field at full-time last night.

-Defoe also linked with a move to Liverpool in a swap deal with Peter Crouch.

-Roberts’ bad mood may also have something to do with his possible move to Fulham. They have tabled an offer of around 3 million.
