Roberts happy to stay!

After endless speculation about our strike partnership of McCarthy and Jason Roberts it is about time that one of them actually tells us what’s going on!
According to Sky Sports Roberts has stated his desire to keep playing for Rovers, along with his belief that Benni will stay as well.
Despite his family and his charity being based in London he said, “There’s no rush for me. I’m happy here. The manager knows that I will keep working hard to do my best for Blackburn Rovers.”
Regarding McCarthy he said “There are no problems for Benni. He is a true professional and focused on doing well for Blackburn Rovers.”
Roberts has joined a host of Rovers players who have got behind the Benni for Blackburn cause! Brett Emerton, David Dunn and Robbie Savage have all begged him to stay and stated their belief that he will!
Just wish we could get rid of Jeffers though…
