I’m speechless….

By: Jimmy | January 30th, 2009

Rovers have this afternoon completed the signing of Sunderland forward El-Hadji Diouf for an undisclosed fee.

Wow. I’m speechless. I’ll turn this over to you.

Not sure. The guy’s got a lot of talent, and Big Sam clearly rates him, and seems to think he can get the best out of him.

Could be a good move in the long run. Unless he’s been brought in to replace Santa Cruz…

    Hahahahahahahaha!!

And by that I mean: A very talented player. When he has a mind to be.

But I do think the most badass team in history was the Bolton squad with both Diouf and Anelka.

Oh, also, I’d forgotten Big Sam had gone to Blackburn. Big Sam has an amazing ability to get the best out of troubled playrs. (See the above-mentioned Diouf and Anelka.) If anybody can make this work, it’s him.

All true. But… he’s like, disgusting. But he’s good against us so maybe it’s good he’s with us. But him…in our Shirt. I don’t know.

Strange signing. Obviously Sam thinks that he can calm Diouf down in a way that Keano couldn’t. I find it strange because I dunno where Rovers can accommodate him. Even though they’re low in the table I find it hard to spot where they’re lacking. Maybe he’ll be good. Not sure though…

Not a player I ever want to see in a Rovers shirt. A dirty diving spitting cheat. My only clear memory is his dive at Ewood that won Bolton a penalty and they beat us 1-0. One word. Twat.

Saying that, he comes on and scores a debut hattrick I’ll probably have a rethink…
