Its Official: Coventry = Boogey Side w/ highlights
By: Jimmy | February 14th, 2009
Despite a early lead for Rovers after just 2 (TWO) minutes, Coventry added goals from Gunnarsson in the 61st and Doyle in the 76th to take the lead late from Rovers having forced the chances and issues most of the game. It wasn’t till the 93rd that Chris Samba was able to snatch a draw and a replay for Rovers with a rebound header…not. It was a rebound that he turned on and fired into the goal.
Rovers had some luck go against them with two goals being disallowed; one rightly and one incorrectly. Givet had a master goal disallowed for some specter “shirt pulling” call while later Benni Mac drifted offside a few yards and had his shot through to the back of the net negated.
But this is all masking the big issue here: Why, for the second time in the FA Cup, can we not put away this Coventry side who not only play a league lower, but aren’t even doing all that great in The Fizzy Pop League themselves? I just don’t get it, but it has to fall no both the players and the management for not having the right mindset going out on to the pitch and not playing with much or any enthusiasm. Hopefully Big Sam will have sorted this out by the replay cause whether you’re for cup run or not, losing to the likes of Coventry is a huge embarrassment and morale blow, and can’t be allowed. Highlights below(except for the RSC goal which I’ll get up later.)

Quas lovin the positive outlook you got going on, just can’t seem to be able to tolerate playing to the level of the opposition. I guess its where I draw my line personally.

Ah you are right. I don’t know why I typed that. Silly error on my part thanks for pointing that out.
