I think he could blow up, and I'd like a "right of first buy" on any sell-on attempt in 12 months. 2) Givet is a steal at the cost I've seen (3M pounds), based on what I saw last year. He's not immune to occasional lapses, but a lefty LB whose also comfortable at CB and is up to the EPL is a bargain at that cost. 3) I love that BFS is talking up Ruud. We need a true game-changer target striker that can play alone or with Benni playing off him, and RVN can be that guy for 1 or 2 years. The question then becomes: he's cheap in transfer cost, so can we afford the wage cost as well, or accept it in place of total transfer outlays? And while I'm sure Ruud thinks he deserves to stay in Madrid, the reality is something very different when Galacticos v2.0 is being created... 4) I think we'll miss Mokoena, but I wonder if we have enough guys who are essentially combo defenders/defensive mids who can cover there??
