    Blackburn buying him is a bit odd. He only ever made one start for Macclesfield and he’s 19. It’ll be interesting to see if he does anything…

    Yeah, i agree. Odd is a great word to describe it. I don;t really know anything about him but reports have him pegged as a striker with some saying he can play the right side? Youth is good I suppose, but you have to winder if Sam wants to watch him grow a bit in the reserves or go right into the squad? 1 start all season for M’field…odd

    Is anybody else really confused? Its not like we don’t already have 3 guys who play striker better than a 19 year old kid with 1 start for a league2 side

    Unlike Ince, Allardyce has a proven track record for signing good players in the Premier League (on a budget – ignore what happened at Newcastle!) so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions.

    I suspect it means we’ve seen the end of Paul Gallagher though…
