You are right, sacking Ince isn’t the answer. The squad now is a whole lot different then when Hughes left and in order to save face, he’ll have no excuses if he doesn’t make the squad his own this next transfer window. I think we’ve seen though that Carlos doesn’t play too great out wide and hes a play maker in the middle, between the midfield line and the strikers. That being said, I dont know if our style of play is conducive to that, or if he’s worth the £4m price tag to permma sign.

The spuds game will be tricky, but it is away from home so we’ll see.

Well, its not good enough. I wanted Ince as manager (and still do), the problem is he hasnt got his own squad yet and i know people will say he inhertited a top 10 squad but not with the way he wants to play aswell as Bentley and Friedel gone. Either way we have lots of injuries and without makeign excuses we need to start playing with a lot more grit and determination to keep leads when we ge them. We scored at a perfect time but couldnt defend a lead. Ince will buy in January as I believe we will have to to stay up, we will also have players back but we have to stop losing and grinding points and wins out before then.

Warnock has to go back to left back, Nelson HAS to be dropped. Ooijer and Samba should be at the back. Villaneuva i believe needs more time and probably needs a wider role and play with two strikers (meaning beni and santa), Derbyshire is a sub for now whether he likes it of not.

Totttenham will be ready to go on another run after the defeat and we will need a good performance, id take a point to be honest but you never know with Rovers!

I’m starting to think Nelson isn’t up for it myself. Have a good time at the game coming up, bring the lads some luck and let us know how it goes from there!

well well well.
I wake up on saturday with so much hope about the day…and blackburn then we end up grabbing a draw…or losing a game. looking at the highlights zurab just fell over for the second goal, dunno what was going on. maybe ooijer and samba in the centre if nelsons not up for it? im going to The Lane to watch the rovers so hopefully we can pull one out of that hat like last year.
btw, the commentary on those highlights were brilliant…love the emotion in his voice!
