Rovers fined by the FA

Today Rovers were fined £10,000 plus costs by the FA for Gamst’s violent attack on Newcastle’s Beye. (as seen in picture to the left) This violent attack was reviewed over by an FA disciplinary board and after hearing evidence they decided that £10,000 seemed just the perfect amount, however, £7,500 of the fine will be held over till 2009; apparently to think about what we’ve done. I’m glad this has been resolved. Ah, Justice.
